Julian Castro supports access to care for chronic pain

Julian Castro has made comments in support of getting CPPs the medicine they need–https://www.newsweek.com/julian-castro-presidency-make-sure…. But he has no real steps to do that. We need to educate him on the truth. Please email him ( info@julianforthefuture.com ) the following letter, or change it as you see fit for your own needs. Just please let him know that the answer is available (but it isn’t the CDC).

Dear Mr. Castro,

The article https://www.newsweek.com/julian-castro-presidency-make-sure… states that you would support patients getting the pain meds they need. But how would you do that when innocent doctors are going to prison for doing their job treating chronic pain?

Linda Cheek, MD has the answer to that question, and she is happy to be consulted. If we can find ONE presidential candidate to learn the truth and then use that truth to develop a national policy, that would ensure election.

Basically, the problem is a 100 year old one, where opioids are blamed for addiction. But drugs do not cause addiction. Obvious truths: a person can drink a glass of wine without becoming an alcoholic. 80% of Viet Nam veterans tried heroin while in Viet Nam. 20% returned to the US as a chronic user. But only 5% were actually addicted. The rest stopped using on their own without difficulty.

With your experience as HUD Secretary and your community involvement, you already know one major cause of addiction: anxiety leading to despair. Providing the basic Maslow’s hierarchy principles is one step in the right direction to reduce drug abuse. The medical cause is toxicity due to our lifestyle. Conventional medicine just doesn’t understand toxicity or how to treat it—because it can’t be done with a pill. For a thorough explanation of toxicity, you can watch the video on www.doctorsofcourage.org/videos/ called The REAL Cause of Drug Abuse.

The problem with our current approach to drug abuse is that it won’t fix the problem, and by ignoring the REAL cause, addiction will continue to rise. As a result of our more toxic lifestyle since the 1970’s, drug abuse is on the increase. But putting more people into prison is not the answer, as you recognize. And attacking doctors in order to confiscate their assets is also not the answer. Legal genocide of the expendable populations—what the government is currently doing—is Hitlerism in disguise.

Are you willing to step up and actually state your position on the current War on Drugs, Doctors and Chronic Pain Patients? If you need to learn what is necessary to make a difference, Dr. Cheek is happy to teach you. And once you understand the actual problem and the true solution, we can guarantee that you would have the support of the chronic pain patients in the community. One-third of the American population has pain, 60 million with chronic pain. That is a slam-dunk into the White House.

So please, learn the truth and lead this nation away from the dark ages it is heading toward.
