In it’s seventh week and second day of operation, CERGM registered it’s 10,000th visitor. When started, hopes of reaching 10,000 visitors was projected out to June of 2019 so the response from the chronic pain community has exceeded all expectations.
With only eighty eight posts, CERGM has seen them shared over 3,000 times on other social media sights for 8,116 page views. And while 97% of our target audience is the U.S. visitors from nine other countries return regularly to view content.
CERGM articles are posted and shared primarily on Facebook, ReadIt and Twitter, with positive comments and feedback from about 14% of viewers in those communities, and 3 percent of those visiting have signed up for weekly feeds of content from this sight.
My thanks to all who support these efforts to inform, educate and dispel the myths around treating chronic pain with opiates. To further the message that chronic pain patients are rational, educated, informed, taxpayers who make positive contributions to our society.
